Hello and welcome. I realized recently the importance of continuing one's practice of all things artistic, to remain intact with one's talent and experience. After the fairy series, I was (I humbly admit) extremely content with myself, warranting a slight drop in my eagerness to create new sketches. I am not so content with myself as of this moment.

Now, I find myself staring at a new sketch, with new characters, and discover within me fear in continuing with the application of any color. I fear I will ruin the piece, thus banishing away my knowledge of all things artful forevermore and to end up with not a pencil or paintbrush to my name.

Okay, that was a little dramatic, but I really am absolutely terrified to continue with this next piece!! It's not a big deal, it's just a little sketch. I'm not repainting the Sistine Chapel or anything.... that would be totally awesome tho.... so I have no reason to be afraid. Only, I fear that if I mess it up, I will never want to color or draw again!!! ( > < ) I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions from all you amazing artists out there????
